Welcome to a two-part ceramic workshop (beginner-friendly) where you will create your own clay pieces from scratch and then decorate them with glaze (check last photo).

Session 1: creating with clay (3 hours)
We begin with an introduction to the ceramic process and a demonstration of handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab building. You’ll use these methods to shape your own pieces (cups, bowls, vases, or whatever inspires you). We work in a small group of 5–6 participants around a large shared table, allowing for plenty of personal guidance.

Session 2: glazing & decoration (3 hours)
Once your pieces have dried and been bisque-fired, we meet again to glaze and decorate them. You’ll get an introduction to glaze application, color choices, and how the glaze transforms during firing. After this session, I will fire your finished work, which will be ready for pickup in about two weeks.
